Mustard oil is also made of protein, which is the major component of hair. It is important for healthier hair growth and insufficient amounts of protein could lead to massive hair loss, because the body may divert the minimal amount of protein available in the body for more important functions. Hence, hair follicles will be deprived of protein, causing them to enter resting stage. A clear indication of this aside from hair loss is early graying of hair.
